At the heart of the aks-Duoplot plus AD mattress with reinforced edges and Inko-Air 90x200x14 cm, rolled is a large support surface made of soft foam. This helps distribute pressure more evenly, relieving sensitive areas of the body—a key consideration for people at risk of pressure ulcers, those receiving pain therapy, and patients with cachexia. Cutouts beneath the support surface also reduce the effects of gravity and promote a more balanced microclimate. This can help reduce heat build-up and moisture—common challenges for people who are bedridden for extended periods.
Designed for easy hygiene in everyday care, the mattress features an inkoair® cover that is particularly suitable for incontinence care, is two-way stretch, and can be washed at up to 95 °C.
