It is placed on an existing mattress and helps caregivers, clinics and home-care providers reduce pressure peaks and significantly ease repositioning. Ideal when reliable pressure relief, easy handling and a hygienic cover are essential.
In everyday care, consistent pressure relief often determines whether vulnerable areas of skin can be protected. The aks-eir-flow IV A up to Grade IV, patient weight 40–140 kg, uses an alternating two-chamber system that relieves pressure on the support surfaces at intervals, thereby improving pressure distribution. A static mode is also available for situations where stable positioning is the priority. The pump helps ensure the correct settings with a clear reference table on its front panel.

Practical feature: the leak reminder function reactivates a muted alarm after 10 minutes for as long as the leak persists. The bi-elastic, fluid-proof mattress cover with a perimeter zipper and corner straps makes securing the system and maintaining hygiene easier. If required, the 17 TPU/nylon air cells can be replaced individually. In an emergency, the CPR tab allows rapid deflation.
