The aks-theraplot foam system 90x200x17 cm, rolled, incl. Inko-Air mattress cover is a pressure ulcer prevention soft positioning mattress, specifically developed for pressure ulcer prevention and treatment up to stage III (according to EPUAP). It helps caregivers, family members and care facilities prevent pressure sores and make positioning noticeably more comfortable. Cachectic patients in particular benefit from the soft, body-contouring surface and pressure-relieving support.
The aks-theraplot foam system 90x200x17 cm, rolled, incl. Inko-Air mattress cover features a large, soft surface made of pink foam that adapts very well to the body’s contours. This distributes the pressure across the contact area—a decisive factor when relieving pressure on sensitive areas of skin and making positioning safer during care. The cube-shaped middle layer also helps create a favourable microclimate, which is particularly important during extended periods of lying down.
With three graded compression firmness levels, the aks-theraplot foam system 90x200x17 cm, rolled, incl. Inko-Air mattress cover combines comfort and stability: the patient lies on a soft surface without sinking in. Cuts on the underside allow the mattress to adapt optimally to 4-section lying surfaces—ideal for care beds where the back and leg sections are frequently adjusted. Reinforced side edges on both sides provide support when changing position and mobilising, for example when sitting up or transferring. The included Inko-Air mattress cover completes the system for everyday care.
