The Alternating Pressure System ECO 1+2 Category I-II was developed to reliably support patients at low to moderate risk of pressure ulcers. As a large-cell mattress overlay system, it is suitable for pressure ulcer prevention and for treating pressure ulcers at stages 1 to 2. The Alternating Pressure System ECO 1+2 Category I-II relieves vulnerable areas of the body, improves lying comfort and makes everyday care easier for caregivers – both in care beds and at home.
At the heart of the Alternating Pressure System ECO 1+2 Category I-II is a proven alternating pressure principle: 17 polyurethane cells coated with nylon distribute pressure and help relieve pressure. This is especially helpful when repositioning is limited or patients spend extended periods lying down. For situations where evenly distributed, adjustable soft positioning is desired, the integrated static mode provides additional flexibility.
The system is also designed with safety and hygiene in mind: an audible alarm warns when pressure is too low, and secure connectors link the overlay to the control unit. The SLK Care-TexTM cover is breathable, fluid-proof and resistant to disinfectants – ideal for the demanding day-to-day care environment. A CPR function is provided for rapid pressure relief in emergencies.
