Description
The Arion Sim-Slide Donning and Doffing Aid is a multifunctional application aid that makes putting on and taking off open-toe compression stockings noticeably easier. Thanks to its special gliding properties, it reduces friction and helps make compression therapy more comfortable. Ideal for people who wear compression stockings and want to be more independent in their daily lives, as well as for caregivers who want to reduce the physical strain of putting them on and taking them off.
The Arion Sim-Slide Donning and Doffing Aid makes daily care easier: its special coating allows it to glide smoothly between the skin and the compression garment. This is especially helpful when putting on the garment feels difficult, time-consuming or uncomfortable. As a practical 2-in-1 solution, the Arion Sim-Slide Donning and Doffing Aid helps with both putting on and taking off compression stockings—without unnecessary pulling or twisting.
Another advantage: By minimising friction, it can reduce common causes of material stress. The Arion Sim-Slide Donning and Doffing Aid can therefore help prevent finger or nail damage, as well as excessive stretching and deformation of the compression garment. This can have a positive effect on the stockings’ lifespan and help them maintain their original compression for longer. At the same time, using the aid encourages independence when handling compression stockings and can support adherence to therapy—an important factor in treatment success.
