Description
The Bort Stack splint is a plastic finger splint that stabilizes the injured fingertip in hyperextension, helping to support healing. It is suitable for anyone looking for simple, practical immobilization of the DIP joint, whether after a sports injury, at work or at home. Its transparent design and compact shape protect the finger without adding unnecessary bulk.
Reliable stabilization is essential for fingertip injuries to prevent unwanted movement and reduce strain on the finger as it heals. The Bort Stack splint was developed for this purpose: it holds the fingertip in hyperextension and helps keep the affected DIP joint still. This can be particularly helpful if the finger is repeatedly bent or strained without you realizing it during everyday activities.
The thermoplastic material can be reshaped as needed to fit the individual finger. It can also be machined, which is useful for fine adjustments to the edges or length. The Bort Stack splint can be worn on either hand, making it versatile. Size 3 is designed for a finger width of 1 to 2 cm, and its transparent color makes it discreet on the finger.
