As you move, it guides and stabilizes the hip joint, which can help promote a steadier, more even gait. A movable trochanter pad sits above the greater trochanter and massages the tendon attachments of the hip muscles—providing noticeable relief when every step feels like a pull or a pressure.
A gluteal pad and posterior SI joint friction pads also act on the ligaments and muscles in the pelvic and hip area. This can help address localized tension and correct imbalances that often accompany discomfort around the pelvis and sacroiliac joint. Individually adjustable tension straps create circular compression that can immediately relieve pressure on the pelvis and SI joint. A lateral joint splint can be secured to the leg; if needed, hip flexion and extension can optionally be limited.
