The STUTTGART black dressing shoe is a symmetrical, low-cut specialist shoe for patients who need a shoe with an open toe. It helps keep the foot safely immobilised and stable during everyday activities—especially when conventional shoes do not fit because of dressings, swelling or pressure sensitivity. Ideal for postoperative care, sensitive forefeet or situations where controlled foot rollover and extra room in the toe area are needed.
The STUTTGART black dressing shoe specifically relieves pressure on the forefoot: its rigid sole with an extra-strong rocker and toe spring helps prevent flexion of the metatarsophalangeal joints. This can reduce pain and support the healing process by stabilising and immobilising the foot. The open toe provides room and avoids pressure on sensitive areas, while the closed heel with a reinforced heel counter ensures a secure fit.
Practical for everyday use: three long hook-and-loop straps allow the internal volume to be adjusted quickly and precisely to changing needs—for example, in the event of swelling or bulky dressings. The breathable, washable upper and antimicrobial-coated EVA insole make hygiene easier. The full EVA sole can also be adapted to individual requirements by grinding and/or bonding.
