Description
The HEMI System Swivel Arm for Arm Trough, 17.5 mm Reach expands the modular HEMI arm trough system with flexible, practical positioning of the arm trough on the wheelchair. With its 360° swivel range, the arm can be quickly moved into a comfortable, functional position—especially helpful for wheelchair users with hemiplegia. For those looking for a stable, adjustable solution, the HEMI System Swivel Arm for Arm Trough, 17.5 mm Reach is a thoughtfully designed component that provides greater safety and support.
In everyday use, support needs to be simple and straightforward: the HEMI System Swivel Arm for Arm Trough, 17.5 mm Reach can be mounted on either the left or right side, making it suitable for different wheelchair configurations. The swivel arm attaches to the wheelchair side frame using the included round-tube adapter—ideal when a stable base is needed. Its 360° swivel range lets you move the arm trough closer or swing it out of the way as needed, for example when transferring, approaching tables, or during care and therapy.
The robust aluminum construction is designed to support loads of up to 40 kg, helping to guide the arm securely. This helps relieve strain on the arm and maintain a consistent position—an important factor when control and stability are limited on one side of the body. As part of the HEMI system, the setup remains modular: the HEMI System Swivel Arm for Arm Trough, 17.5 mm Reach complements existing components and offers additional adjustment options without making the system unnecessarily complicated.
