It helps reliably stabilise the foot and relieve pressure on the forefoot – ideal after procedures or for sensitive toes when pressure and friction need to be avoided. Thanks to its ambidextrous design and adjustable volume, the MADRID post-operative shoe, blue is particularly suitable for clinical settings and home care.
At its heart is the rigid shoe sole with an extra-strong rocker and toe spring: it helps prevent flexion at the metatarsophalangeal joints and can therefore reduce discomfort caused by forefoot movement. At the same time, the foot is immobilised – an important benefit when protection and stability are needed during recovery. The open toe area provides space for dressings and sensitive toes, while the closed heel with a reinforced heel counter ensures a secure fit.
For a good fit, the interior volume of the MADRID post-operative shoe, blue can be adjusted using two long hook-and-loop straps – practical in cases of swelling or bulky dressings. The solid EVA sole can be individually modified by grinding and/or bonding. The breathable, washable upper and the antimicrobial-coated EVA insole support hygienic use.
