The SCS Pulsation System SLK Pain&Therapy Stage I-IV was developed to reliably relieve pressure for people at risk of pressure ulcers or with existing pressure sores—from pressure ulcer stages 1 to 4. It is suitable for care facilities, clinics and home care when safe positioning, noticeable pressure relief and an easy-to-manage therapy system are needed. Automatic pressure adjustment supports care staff and family caregivers in their daily work and improves comfort when lying down.
As a large-cell mattress replacement system, the SCS Pulsation System SLK Pain&Therapy Stage I-IV can be used flexibly and, if needed, as an overlay system. Its 17 PU cells, including 9 airflow cells, provide the basis for effective pressure distribution—particularly important for people at low to high risk of pressure ulcers. The sensor-chip control (SCS) automatically adjusts the pressure via the control unit, so care does not depend on manual settings and common sources of error are reduced. Static and pulsation modes are available for different therapy goals, from stable positioning to dynamic pressure relief during extended periods in bed. The breathable SLK Soft-Care-Tex cover helps reduce shear forces—a common problem when repositioning patients and caring for restless individuals. Safety features such as a visual low-pressure alarm, secure connectors between the overlay and control unit, and a CPR function complete the SCS Pulsation System SLK Pain&Therapy Stage I-IV for everyday care.
