The SLK II MCS Large-Cell Alternating Pressure System Category I–III reliably supports pressure ulcer prevention and treatment – from stage 1 to 3, for patients at low to high risk. This large-cell mattress overlay system is designed for care facilities, hospital wards and home care when prolonged bed rest, limited mobility or sensitive skin place particular demands on pressure relief.
The SLK II MCS Large-Cell Alternating Pressure System Category I–III helps create noticeably better conditions for areas of skin at risk: switching between static and alternating pressure modes enables positioning tailored to individual needs – depending on the care situation, rest period or therapeutic goal. The 17 PU cells, including 9 airflow cells, support even pressure distribution and promote a comfortable sleeping climate. This is particularly helpful when heat and moisture buildup place additional strain on the skin.
The Micro-Chip Control (MCS) monitors cell pressure and helps ensure consistent support. Connectors securely link the overlay to the control unit – a practical feature in daily care, where every movement needs to be reliable. The breathable SLK Soft-Care-Tex cover is designed to reduce shear forces and increase comfort. A CPR function for rapid deflation is integrated for emergency situations. The SLK II MCS Large-Cell Alternating Pressure System Category I–III is supplied as a set including the control unit and cover, and is designed for a bed size of 90 x 200 cm.
