Its viscoelastic foam system supports pressure ulcer prevention and treatment for pressure ulcer stages 1 to 3. Ideal for care beds and home care when reliable pressure relief, comfortable lying and a hygienic, easy-care mattress cover are needed.
In everyday care, pressure sores often develop on particularly vulnerable areas of the body, such as the heels, sacrum or shoulders. The SLK ViscoCare Comfort 150 AD Foam Mattress with Cover 15x90x200cm addresses this with profiled viscoelastic foam divided into 3 zones: it adapts to the body, distributes interface pressure and thereby helps provide effective pressure relief. Its sinking properties with memory effect allow the mattress to “remember” the contours of the body and provide a high level of comfort in any lying position—even during extended periods of lying down.
Different firmness zones promote targeted pressure relief, while reinforced edge zones can provide greater stability when repositioning and getting in and out of bed. The nodular structure also helps prevent heat build-up—an important advantage when balanced comfort is needed over many hours. The SLK ViscoCare Comfort 150 AD Foam Mattress with Cover 15x90x200cm is supplied with a polyurethane-coated SLK Bi-Stretch cover featuring a liquid-repellent zipper, for hygienic, practical use in care settings and at home.
