The Viscoflex Seat Cushion, with a height of 8 cm, was developed to make sitting for long periods noticeably more comfortable and safer. The viscoelastic memory foam conforms to the body’s contours and helps distribute pressure evenly. This cushion is ideal for people at increased risk of pressure ulcers, those requiring care, and anyone who sits in a wheelchair or chair for extended periods and needs reliable pressure ulcer prevention up to Grade II.
In everyday use, one thing matters most: relieving pressure where it builds up. The Viscoflex Seat Cushion is anatomically injection-moulded and combines stable positioning with a comfortable fit. Raised side edges help support a steady sitting position – especially when frequent repositioning is difficult. At the same time, the seat surface can be lowered in the coccyx area to relieve sensitive areas in a targeted way. Ventilation channels on the surface promote airflow and can therefore improve the seating climate.
The Viscoflex Seat Cushion with an incontinence cover is particularly practical for use in care, rehabilitation or at home: the Polymaille cover is removable, fluid-repellent and washable at 65 °C. A non-slip underside keeps the cushion securely in place on the seat – whether in a wheelchair or on a care or dining chair. The Viscoflex Seat Cushion can be used when Stage I–II pressure ulcers are already present or when there is an increased to very high risk according to the Braden Scale.
