Ideal for post-operative or therapeutically prescribed care when protection, adjustability and hygiene are equally important.<\/p>\n

As an asymmetrical therapeutic shoe, the Therapeutic Shoe AUGSBURG Standard black<\/strong> combines a rigid sole with a pronounced rocker and sole rise. This effectively prevents flexion of the metatarsophalangeal joints\u2014a key benefit when the forefoot needs to be protected and unwanted movement must not interfere with the healing process. At the same time, the shoe stabilizes and immobilizes the foot, providing noticeable relief, especially in sensitive situations following surgery or for therapeutic indications.<\/p>\n

The open toe area provides space and reduces pressure on the forefoot, while the closed heel with a reinforced heel counter ensures a secure fit. Hook-and-loop fasteners allow the internal volume to be adjusted flexibly\u2014useful when dressings change or swelling varies. The breathable upper material is washable, making it suitable for everyday use when hygiene is a priority. Three EVA insoles also provide comfort and adjustment options; the top insole has an antimicrobial coating.
