Ideal for people at very high risk of pressure ulcers, as assessed using the Norton, Braden or Waterlow scale, in hospitals, care facilities or home care.<\/p>\n<p>At its core, the AD-System Hyper-Foam GEL pressure-relief mattress with PU-Tex cover features a hyperelastic, 3-layer foam construction. Crosswise and lengthwise cuts help it conform precisely to the body, reducing pressure peaks. The open-cell, breathable GELTOUCH Foam top layer, combined with HR foam, provides a comfortable lying experience and helps maintain a balanced microclimate. GELTOUCH technology with a cooling effect is particularly beneficial when heat and moisture build-up make lying down uncomfortable.<\/p>\n<p>For sensitive areas, the integrated Supersoft zone provides targeted relief for the head and heels \u2013 a welcome benefit when pressure sores frequently occur in these areas. Ventilation channels promote air circulation. The water-vapour-permeable incontinence cover is bi-elastic, helping to minimise shear forces.
